INSTRUCTORS
We are seeking dynamic candidates to join the SKATE4POWER "Cutting Edge Hockey"/Laura Stamm International Power Skating Organization. This position is required to provide excellent instructional service in a professional, enthusiastic manner. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in a Hockey environment and who likes working with people.
Job Description:
As a member of SKATE4POWER"Cutting Edge Hockey"/Laura Stamm team , you will be expected to bring your dynamic personality to the ice or the training centre. You will be responsible for providing excellent technical training instruction as specified in our curriculum. Candidates should have a strong interest in Hockey and have the ability to present themselvesin a professional manner.
Other Responsibilities:
Administering student check in and attendance rosters
Student signups
Testing for various achievement levels
Merchandise sales
Upkeep for programs you instruct.
Instructor Candidates will possess:
• Superior skating skills (if applying as a Power Skating Instructor)
• Comprehensive understand of the sport of ice hockey
• Can-do attitude
• Strong analytical skills and an eye for details
• Ability to be an energetic team player
• Ability to delegate responsibilities to on ice assistants
• Ability to work on ice with diverse age groups and skill levels
• Willingness to travel
• College education is a plus
